Across the EU, Members States are introducing various measures to improve the skills and competencies of procurement practitioners, such as competency frameworks, mandatory certifications, training strategies and elearnings.
Professionalization of procurement practitioners is increasingly important to ensure that procurement is carried out in compliance with regulations, and delivers value for money.
To promote mutual learning, knowledge exchange on best practices related to PPI and stimulate the debate on common challenges, PRONTO will organise at least 18 international short-term staff exchanges between public procurers.
